    The second issue of the fourth volume of TJDS has been released. This issue features four research articles and two book reviews. The research articles cover various aspects of international migration, including an exploration of teachers’ international professional experiences, the role of social media in connecting Malaysian students in Indonesia, media representation of Indonesian migrant women workers in Türkiye, and the economic contributions of international students in Istanbul. Additionally, the issue includes two insightful book reviews on topics related to global diasporas and statelessness.

    The first issue of the fourth volume of TJDS has been released. This issue contains three research articles on international migration and employment relations in the case of Syrians in Türkiye, nostalgia and stories of the Turkish diaspora in Broadmeadows, and the Syrian students in Turkish media. Additionally, it includes two review articles on Germany’s Islam Policy, and Regulation Concerning the Social Security of the Turkish Diaspora. Two book reviews on migration and diaspora are included in this issue as well.

    The second issue of the third volume of TJDS has been released. This issue contains three research articles on human trafficking and migration of Sub-Saharan African women who were deceived into coming to Türkiye, socio-demographic factors, reasons and benefits of internal and international migration in Afghanistan, and the role of NGOs on the political participation of the Turkish diaspora in Germany. Also, it includes two reviewed articles on African Union migration governance, and the use of diasporic cinema in studying migration and diaspora. Additionally, three book reviews on migration and diaspora are included in this issue.

The topics covered include the integration of Turks in Germany, the diaspora policy of political parties in Türkiye, the African diaspora in Türkiye, Turkish NGOs in Germany, EU immigration policy, and Russian multiculturalism.

    The second issue of the first volume of TJDS focuses on the theme of Turks in Germany, in honor of the 60th anniversary of the migration from Türkiye to Germany. This issue includes five research articles, two review articles, and four book reviews that cover a range of topics such as German policy on Islam, socio-spatial construction, relations between the police and the third generation, belonging, and marginalization. Additionally, it includes discussions on the diaspora's right to vote and the Egyptian diaspora.

    In the inaugural edition of TJDS, the first academic journal in Türkiye in the field of diaspora published by Migration Research Foundation, includes the editorial text and 11 interviews with experts about the concept of diaspora. Furthermore, the issue contained five research articles discussing the Turkish diaspora and other diasporas, along with four published book reviews that added to the literature on migration and diaspora.
