Archiving and Data Distribution Policy

The editor of TJDS ensures that all published material is safely stored in an archive. TJDS publishes its articles and archives them electronically for full access on an open-access basis, without any action required from the authors. The author or funding organization can upload a copy of the author's accepted manuscript to archival sites. The Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license allows users to copy, distribute, and transmit the article, if they give credit to the author and do not use the article for commercial purposes without the author's permission. TJDS commits to keeping all its articles under the CC BY-NC 4.0 license and to store the full-text content on archive platforms and on their website https://dergipark.org.tr/tr/pub/tjds.

Repository Policy: Publisher’s Website

The publisher of TJDS (ISSN: 2717-7408 e-ISSN: 2757-9247) is pleased to announce its archive policy, which aims to support the dissemination of research results. The following conditions apply to authors of articles published in the journal:
- Authors may use the final published version of an article (publisher pdf) for self-archiving on their personal website and/or archiving in an institutional repository after publication.
- Authors may self-archive their articles in public and/or commercial subject-based archives without any embargo period. However, they must acknowledge the published source and provide a link to the journal homepage or articles’ DOI.
- Authors can download the offprint of the article as a PDF document and send copies of the article to colleagues without any embargo.
- TJDS allows all versions of articles (submitted version, accepted version, published version) to be deposited in an institutional or other repository of the author’s choice without embargo.
- TJDS uses the LOCKSS system to enable the creation of a permanent repository. The LOCKSS Program is a library-led digital preservation system built on the principle of “ensuring the security of large numbers of copies.” It provides libraries and publishers with award-winning, low-cost, open-source digital preservation tools to ensure access to permanent and authoritative digital content.
